February 8, 2026. Levi’s Stadium, Santa Clara, California. Super Bowl 60. That’s LX for those who still prefer operating under the Roman system. Dare to dream, Bills Mafia.

Super Bowl LIX has come and gone. I’ll spare you my lifetime record rooting against dynasties, but when the challenger does prevail, it is a beautiful thing. Congratulations to the Philadelphia Eagles and especially GM Howie Roseman and Defensive Coordinator Vic Fangio. My vote is for these Eagles as the best roster in the NFL in the salary cap era. Philly’s defense is oozing with talent, and Fangio’s game plan laid out a template for the AFC towards stopping Mahomes. If you put stock in such things, the karma smack that Mahomes experienced for wearing an Eagles Green Suit to the game was priceless.

If I never hear the term “threepeat” again, I will be thrilled. It shouldn’t ever happen in a league with a salary cap and more than two rounds of playoffs, and it hasn’t. Brady’s artificially-low salary, and the Chiefs’ haul from Miami for Tyreek Hill almost pulled it off. Time to focus on getting some first-time Super Bowl Champions!

Fire up the War Room; there is a lot of work to be done.

Offense: QB-check. RB-check. OL-check. TE-check. WR-need a deep threat.

Defense: DL-need immediate impact at Edge and Nose Tackle. LB-is it time to talk 4-3? CB-new partner for Benford? S-hoping Bishop earns one starting spot, and a veteran externally or internally (Taron Johnson?) fills the other.

If the shopping list looks difficult on defense, the Eagles JUST went from 30th to top 3 on defense with the right moves. I’d like to imagine Brandon Beane working harder and smarter this offseason than ever before. The Bills actually possess quality DEPTH in most areas; the resources this offseason need to be dedicated to immediate impact. It’s not about Josh Allen’s window; it’s about the windows of this offensive line and James Cook and several key defensive pieces. One of the most surprising elements of the Bills’ season was how much McDermott’s stock rose succeeding with a lesser roster, while Beane’s stock fell for continued disappointment in too many high draft choices. I want both on the podium with Josh when our dream comes true.

All the slush is brown, and the sky is gray…Super Bowl 60 Dreaming. on such a winter’s day. Apologies to the Mamas and Papas.

“Be good. Do good. God Bless. Go Bills!”

Our MVP just wrote one off the best epitaphs I’ve ever read.

  1. Curtis Samuel is a legit deep threat receiver who barely scratched the surface. A route running separator who can become available when JA scrambles is my WR dream. Growth from Shakir Kincaid and Coleman expected. Q: will Brady give the pass game a lane to thrive bc it seemed to take a backseat to the run game
