Jim Kelly’s Every Score to Benefit Hunter’s Hope (Guest Post)

Hey, Del here. Not sure if you’re familiar with the “Jim Kelly’s Every Score” program that benefits Hunter’s Hope, but if you’re not read on. It’s a great way to help out a great cause and get in on some great giveaways. Meghan from HH will explain further…

Being one of six boys, Jim Kelly always dreamed of having a son. When he and his wife, Jill welcomed their son, Hunter, into the world on February 14, 1997, Jim’s birthday, they had big plans for Hunter to follow in his dad’s footsteps…

At just 4 months old, Hunter received the devastating diagnosis of Krabbe Leukodystrophy. Krabbe Leukodystrophy is a fatal genetic neurological disorder. Children affected by the disease greatly suffer as they rapidly lose virtually all-voluntary movement, and are not expected to live beyond their second birthday. Lifesaving treatment is available but only when a child is diagnosed prior to the onset of symptoms. By screening every baby for Krabbe at birth through newborn screening, children like Hunter can be given the chance at the healthy life they deserve at a cost of about $1 per baby.

Jim and his family want your help in saving children’s lives by joining Jim Kelly’s Every Score! Who better to help raise money for this amazing cause than the Bills Mafia!

Pledge to donate for every point the Bills score; you can give as little as $0.10 up to anything your heart can give! In return, we are giving away signed Bills Gear from past and present legends every week to those who fulfill their pledge each week! At the end of the season we have an amazing GRAND PRIZE give away too! Signing up takes no time but will make a huge difference for newborns and children. We know what dedicated fans the Bills Mafia are, and hope that energy and excitement for Buffalo can help save lives!

With Hope,

About Del Reid

Del Reid became a Bills fan shortly after coming into this world, having been raised in a home that actually had a framed picture of OJ Simpson on the wall in the living room (until it came down in 1994). Del has always had a passion for bringing people together to celebrate things they share in common. As a result, he (quite accidentally) ended up co-founding the #BillsMafia movement among Bills fans in social media -- which to this point is the coolest thing that has ever happened to him aside from his relationship with God, his wife, and his two awesome kids.
