The Buffalo Bills have started to trim their roster from 75 down to 53. Stay with us today as we update the blog as cuts come in.
FB Evan Rodriguez announced his release via Twitter:

Been on a 3 different teams but this one hurt the most. Great bond in that RB room! Nature of the beast #brotherhood — Evan E-Rod Rodriguez (@ERod_Inc) August 29, 2014
TE Dominique Jones also used Twitter to announce his release:
Guess it wasn’t in the cards for me in Buffalo….somebody will give me a shot so I’m gonna be good!!!

UPDATE #1: QB Jordan Palmer has been released per Adam Schefter, although @BuffaloWins may have had the original scoop.
Palmer was put in a tough spot last night, but he was far from impressive. He went 9-of-22 for 73 yards and three interceptions.
UPDATE #2: The Buffalo Bills website announced the following releases:
- LB Xavius Boyd
- DT Landon Cohen
- CB Kamaal McIlwain
- CB Sam Miller
- P Brian Moorman
- WR Naaman Roosevelt
- OL Jared Wheeler
Buffalo also announced that they’ve placed TE Tony Moeaki, CB Bobby Felder and CB Mario Butler on the injured reserve.
The biggest name on the list is Brian Moorman, but he’s struggled throughout the preseason. For the time being, Jordan Gay is the team’s punter and kickoff specialist. That said, Lauren Brill of WIVB TV is reporting that the Bills are bringing in punter Drew Butler for a workout. Butler was with the Steelers in 2012 and was with the Bears and Lions this offseason.
Landon Cohen had the best preseason of the players above and if the Bills are lucky, they may be able to stash him on their practice squad.
UPDATE #3: As the Bills attempt to get their roster down to 53, there’s another player they’re attempting to trade.
Bills have been gauging interest in OL Kraig Urbik, set to make $2.275M this season, and seemingly falling out of favor
