Buffalo Bills Florida-bound

The NFL schedule was released Thursday and it is a great time to be a Bills fan living in Florida. We get treated to 3 games that we can attend this year, some of which will hopefully have playoff implications.

For those of us not traveling to Buffalo this fall we do have to wait until week 7 to get our first up close look at our revamped Buffalo Bills coached by Doug Marrone. Hopefully this will allow his staff enough time to implement their systems and be running on all cylinders to “squish the fish” Sunday, October 20th @ 1:00PM.

The average October temperature for Miami in October is 84 degrees. Buffalonians, you may want to plan your vacation around this.

Another beautiful time to escape Buffalo would be early-mid December. If you plan this one right you will be treated to 2 beautiful weather games.

First, the Bills play the Buccaneers in Tampa @ 1:00PM Sunday, December 8th. The @TampaTapRoom #BillsMafia tailgate will be in full effect for this one, essentially providing Home Field advantage for our beloved Buffalo Bills (for more information check out @shelby_Billsfan).

The average December temperature in Tampa is 72, which will feel tropical for Buffalonians making the journey.

The following week, take a 3 hour drive across the state of Florida and follow the team to Jacksonville to watch them take on the Jaguars Sunday, December 15th, another 1:00PM kickoff.

If you live in Florida, as I do, join me in helping our Bills feel welcome and let’s try to give them 11 “home” games this year! This could go a long way towards helping them end the NFL’s longest playoff drought.
