Mock Draft Preview logo

My friend Scott Carasik (@scar988), creator and founder of and sportswriter for Bleacher Report has updated his 7 round mock draft. It hasn’t been published at yet but he has provided with a preview specific to the Bills.

Immediate Needs:

  • Outside Linebacker
  • Wide Receiver
  • Left Tackle
  • Cornerback
  • Defensive End

Depth Needs:

  • Quarterback
  • Tight End
  • Middle Linebacker

The picks:

10 Buffalo Bills – LT Jonathan Martin – Stanford – 6’6″ 305
Second best Left Tackle in the draft and will be a long term starter on the blind side.

41 Buffalo Bills – OLB Sean Spence – Miami (FL) – 5’11” 224
Can play the WILL or SAM spots in the new 4-3 for the Bills and will likely start right away.

72 Buffalo Bills – WR Joe Adams – Arkansas – 5’11” 180
Could make for a good number two option to Stevie Johnson.

105 Buffalo Bills – DE Malik Jackson – Tennessee – 6’5″ 268
Great fit for the 4-3 in Buffalo, but he would have to sit behind Merriman or Kelsay for a year.

124 Buffalo Bills – CB Omar Bolden – Arizona State – 5’10” 198
Good fit for the Bills at the nickel spot.

136 Buffalo Bills – TE Ladarius Green – Louisiana-Lafayette – 6’6″ 230
Could turn into the next big receiving TE threat and allow Fitzpatrick a safety valve over the middle.

167 Buffalo Bills – QB Kirk Cousins – Michigan State – 6’3″ 205
Possible fit for backup QB spot and should be ready when called on in relief.

201 Buffalo Bills – DE Tyrone Crawford – Boise State – 6’4″ 278
Tyrone Crawford is an interesting player in that he can play the DE or 3-tech DT role.
