#BillsMafia Message Board at

Over the past month, the #BillsMafia movement on Twitter and Facebook has really begun to grow into its own subculture of Bills fans on the Internet. This “subculture” has turned into a community that enjoys discussing the Bills in a constructive, positive fashion.

So anyway… because of this whole community feel that #BillsMafia has begun to develop, Bre, Leslie, and I (Del) have decided to dip our toe into the waters of message board discussions. @shelby_Billsfan, who’s an admin over at, was gracious enough to help us out in this endeavor. In my limited lurking experience, BillsZone has stood out above the other msg boards in terms of the atmosphere here so it seemed like a good fit.

We’ll try using the message board to have conversations that may not translate into 140 character snippets of text. Maybe it will take off, maybe it won’t… But we’re going to throw it up against the wall and see if it sticks.

Some quick orders of business:

  • Like I mentioned above, #BillsMafia’s goal is to conduct positive, constructive discussion around our team. All opinions are welcome, but if you’re just looking to come rant about how the team is performing, this isn’t the place for that. Maybe give a ring to the WGR Whiner Line instead. :) Not saying it has to be “rah rah” type stuff but if you’re looking to just rip Buddy Nix for trading Evans or belittle Aaron Maybin, keep moving…
  • Please be courteous of one another. Leave the vulgarity and disrespect at the door, thanks.

That’s all I’ve got for now… Enjoy the new shiny new toy, #BillsMafia!

About Del Reid

Del Reid became a Bills fan shortly after coming into this world, having been raised in a home that actually had a framed picture of OJ Simpson on the wall in the living room (until it came down in 1994). Del has always had a passion for bringing people together to celebrate things they share in common. As a result, he (quite accidentally) ended up co-founding the #BillsMafia movement among Bills fans in social media -- which to this point is the coolest thing that has ever happened to him aside from his relationship with God, his wife, and his two awesome kids. Follow him on Twitter at @mrdeadlier.
